Safety

At Crash Pads our first consideration is always safety.

All our properties are fitted with:

• Fire Detection System conforming to BS5839 Part 6 Grade D LD3 or above
• Emergency Lighting to light exit routes in the event of power failure
• Fire Doors
• Intruder Alarm System

All our properties are tested annually and therefore hold the following certificates:

• Gas Safe Register Certificate
• NICEIC Electrical Safety Certificate
• Portable Electrical Appliance Certificate
• Fire Detection System Service Certificate
• Emergency Lighting Service Certificate
• Energy Performance Certificate

In addition our larger properties (5 tenants and above) have been granted:

• Mandatory License by Sheffield City Council / Hull City Council

Properties are accredited as follows:

• SNUG Accredited by Sheffield Hallam University/Sheffield City Council (Sheffield only)
• Inspected by Smart Move Sheffield of The University of Sheffield (Properties within University of Sheffield area only)
• HullSTARS Audited and Rated (Hull only)
